Since the Young Scholars Forum session (that was planned for July 1-4, 2021 in Wroclaw) was postponed to the following summer (2022) due to traveling and/or quarantine restrictions still in place in early July 2021, two short online sessions were organized on July 5 and 6, 2021, bringing together our younger and more senior scholars for a "mini" forum.
The Leonid Nevzlin Research Center organized this event in cooperation with the Department of Jewish Studies at Wrocław University and the Leibniz Institute for Jewish History and Culture – Simon Dubnow.
Eighteen young scholars from Argentina, Poland, Israel, US, Germany, Austria, and Romania took part in this event.
The program of the two-days session included a discussion on common experience of living through the pandemic during past year, thumbnail research presentations by the participants, senior scholars' comments on historical, methodological, or other question and a brief presentation of the Jewish Studies program at Wroclaw University as a preview for the next year offline session in Wroclaw.
