We also collected childrens’s clothes and toys… [Refugees] were asking for toys, so I said [to my younger siblings]: “Are there any toys that you want to give away? Let’s give them to other children, they also need toys. Since these are your toys, we [the adults] can’t decide, which toys you don’t need and take them away from you…” And so, my brother and sister were sorting their toys and deciding, which ones they are ready to part with, and which they were not <…> I said: “Children came, and most probably with no toys at all, with nothing at all” – and [my siblings] understood this in as much as they were able to (UJRI_062_K)
